HVAC Service Technician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled certified HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, along with mechanical knowledge and experience in maintenance. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems and appliances, while also providing exceptional service to our clients.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating and cooling systems, including boilers and other related equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to enhance efficiency and longevity.
• Collaborate with team members on construction projects involving HVAC installations.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot effectively.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding their HVAC systems.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role.
• Hydronic experience.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with a focus on HVAC systems, welding, and equipment repair.
• A current driver’s license.
• A valid and up to date Certificate of Qualification.
• Knowledge of applicable HVAC/R codes, standards, and regulations.
• Knowledge and skill of tools, equipment, and materials and practices of the trade.
• Familiarity maintenance practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
