HVAC-R Apprentice Level 2 or 3

We are actively seeking an HVAC Apprentice who is dedicated and has a strong desire for personal and professional growth. This is a wonderful opportunity for an individual to be part of a great company.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic HVAC/R Maintenance
• Diagnose and repair a wide variety of commercial HVAC equipment
• Fill out reports accurately, providing notes where necessary
• Tag equipment and record model and serial numbers
• Safe handling of refrigerant and filling out refrigerant logs
• Support Journeyperson on service and construction jobs
• Perform basic refrigeration piping practices, welding and brazing
• Perform basic hardware (ex: hinges and door closers, door gaskets)
• Reclaim gas
• Perform pressure testing, evacuating, and charging
• Excellent problem solving and ability to work independently

Qualifications:

– Enrolled in an HVAC/R Apprenticeship program
– Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
– Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints
– Ability to weld, solder, and braze pipes and fittings
– Excellent written and verbal communication an asset
– Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
