Sheet Metal Journeyperson

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Sheet Metal Journeyperson to join our non-union team. This position involves the fabrication and installation of commercial HVAC ductwork and related sheet metal systems. The ideal candidate takes pride in high-quality workmanship, works safely, and is dependable on large-scale commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and install commercial HVAC duct systems and sheet metal components
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
• Measure, cut, form, and assemble sheet metal using hand and power tools
• Install hangers, supports, and related hardware
• Inspect work to ensure compliance with drawings, building codes, and company standards
• Troubleshoot and modify existing systems as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe jobsite
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Coordinate with supervisors, other trades, and project teams
• Wage will be determined based upon the candidate’s experience

Qualifications & Experience:

• Red Seal trade certification
• Strong knowledge of duct systems, fittings, and installation methods
• Ability to read and understand construction documents
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Knowledge of local codes and safety standards
